Malang has so many tourist attraction, one of them is the Malang City Square. Situated at the middle of the city, surrounded by Masjid Jami (Grand Mosque) on western part, some of department stores, commercial buildings and Bupati (head of the region) office on the eastern part, Malang Post Office on Southern part and another department stores on northern part. This actually an old concept of a city project initiated on most of Javanese cities.
After serious renovation, now the face of Malang Square (Alun-Alun) has changed a lot, different from the old one from the Dutch Colonial era.

The most notable things that still exist until now are the Beringin (Ficus benjamina) trees as the silent witness from time to time. Here some of Alun-Alun faces now after the renovation.
The pigeons cage with attracted colors
The fountain system not yet operated (at my first visit)
The Ficus tree at the western part
The polished bench and the flower pot
